Wellness for deep feelers
Hi, I’m Abbey — your go-to guide to embracing wellness that honors your sensitivity. Start living a more balanced, energized, and fulfilling life as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). I’ll help you ditch one-size-fits-all wellness plans that don’t work for you.
If you’ve ever felt like the usual wellness advice wasn’t built for someone like you, take a deep breath. You’re in the right place. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) myself, I know what it’s like to feel everything so deeply…the good, the tough, and the downright overwhelming. Life as an HSP can be beautiful but also exhausting, especially when you’re juggling big dreams, daily demands, and your need for rest (so much rest).
That’s where I come in. I help newly-discovered and driven HSPs build simple, sustainable habits for mind, body, and soul care so you can feel balanced, energized, and deeply rested in your daily life.
Because, let’s be real, we’re not here for crash diets, “just push through it” advice, or anything that makes you feel like you’re failing at life or comparing yourself to others. We’re here for small wins, big rest, and approaches that actually work for people like us.
Why I’m Here & How I Can Help
Being a highly sensitive person (HSP) is a unique experience. The world around you can feel like it’s turned up to 11 all the time…loud, fast, and endlessly demanding. If you’ve ever felt like it’s hard to find balance or keep up without burning out, you’re not imagining it.
Generic advice about wellness, energy, or self-care often falls short for people like us. It’s not built with sensitivity in mind, which can leave you wondering if there’s something wrong with you. There isn’t. You just need tools and strategies that actually work for the way you’re wired.
That’s why I’m here. My focus is helping highly sensitive, driven people (like you and me) find practical ways to live with more calm, steady energy, and fulfillment. This isn’t about changing who you are but discovering approaches that support your well-being and celebrate your sensitivity.
Our sensitivity isn’t a barrier or something to fix; it’s your quiet strength. It’s what makes you deeply perceptive, empathetic, and attuned to the world around you. With the right support, that strength can help you create a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.
Over the years, I’ve explored and tested all kinds of wellness tools and habits. I’ve spent time figuring out what’s realistic, helpful, and sustainable for people like us. What I share is rooted in those insights — things that can genuinely make a difference without adding stress or pressure.
I’ll show you how to find calm when your mind feels overstimulated, ways to keep your energy from crashing mid-day, and strategies for creating rhythms in your life that align with your goals and values. These aren’t big, overwhelming changes — they’re small, intentional steps that help shift your days from feeling less AHHHH! to more ahhh.
Whether you’re here to take better care of your body, protect your energy, or reshape your days into something that feels less overwhelming and more aligned with who you are, I’m here to walk with you.
The resources I offer — self-paced courses, tools, and practical strategies — are designed to work for you as an HSP. They’re grounded in the understanding that sensitivity isn’t a weakness but a gift that allows you to connect deeply, dream big, and notice the world in ways others might not.
My Journey: From Online Fitness Coach to Holistic Wellness Mentor for HSPs
The path that led me here wasn’t a straight shot. It was more like one of those winding trails where you’re pretty sure you’re lost half the time, only to realize later that every twist was teaching you something you needed to know.
For a while, I thought I could juggle it all. I’ve worked as a legal assistant to immigration lawyers (work that’s meaningful but heavy) while also running an online fitness coaching business. I threw myself into both, determined to prove to myself I could handle it all. I wanted to help people, make an impact, and keep every plate spinning, no matter how wobbly it got. Honestly, I thought that’s what strength looked like.
Spoiler: it wasn’t sustainable. Trying to pour myself into two demanding roles (plus, you know, life) left me completely spent. I hit burnout hard. The kind of burnout that makes even getting out of bed feel like climbing Everest. And the kicker? Even though I was giving everything I had, I felt like I was failing. Like I couldn’t quite meet the bar no matter how high I jumped.
Then came this unexpected moment in a therapy session where my counselor brought up the idea of being a Highly Sensitive Person. At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. But as we talked, something clicked. Suddenly, all these pieces of my experience fell into place: why I feel so deeply, why lots of rest isn’t optional for me, and why white-knuckling my way through life was only making things worse. It wasn’t that I was “too much” or “not enough.” I was just wired differently.
To be clear, I didn’t immediately start loving my sensitivity. Nope, I had a lot of “Why can’t I just be normal?!” moments first. I grumbled. I cried (a lot). I wished for an easier road. But slowly, I started to see that my sensitivity wasn’t a barrier; it was a guide. It was showing me that the way I’d been doing things wasn’t working for me, and it probably never would.
So, I made a scary decision: I stepped back from my fitness coaching business. The thing I had poured so much of myself into. And instead of rushing to “fix” anything, I rested. I gave myself permission to explore what it meant to thrive as an HSP. I tried out new habits that felt supportive rather than draining. I redefined what success looked like for me; not based on hustle, but on alignment with who I actually am.
Now, I’m back in the mentoring world, but with a completely different approach. I don’t do traditional online fitness coaching anymore. Instead, I work with HSPs through self-led courses to help them build wellness practices that feel gentle, supportive, and doable…practices that actually honor the way we’re wired.
If you’re an HSP, you don’t need to force yourself into a one-size-fits-all mold. You can create a life and routine that work for you, even if that means taking a winding road to get there. And if you’ve been burning out, feeling like you’re constantly falling short, or wondering why everything feels so hard, let me just say: I 100% see you. It’s not because you’re failing. It’s because you deserve a way that works for who you really are.
